I’m sure this educational infographic on the decreasing grammar skills of our children isn’t surprising anyone. In fact, texting is probably the worst culprit for killing proper grammar, punctuation and the art of writing in general. It is more important in today’s fast-paced world that we think of a short cut such as SRSLYor BRB or any other abbreviation or acronym. Children are more likely to remember these new texting rules and abbreviations that old school rules such as “i before e except after c” or other grammar rules.
