Zodiac series of hand printed posters design is an original graphic interpretation of usually known astrological zodiac signs.
These zodiac series posters have been designed by Maciej Polak who is an illustrator based in Łódź, Poland. He is a freelance illustrator, muralist and graphic designer from Blachownia near Czestochowa. He currently lives and work in Lodz, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in graphic design. “The raw style of my work originated from my passion for skateboarding and graffiti. In my work I combine traditional techniques and artistic directions with modern tools.” He says.
He has shared a beautiful series of hand-printed posters titled ‘Zodiac Signs’ series. These 12 Zodiac signs outdone into his art, colors, and silk-screen printing method. These illustrations are totally fabulous, he also added a little typography touch to complete the whole visual direction.
Each poster consists of two elements, a base illustration representing the mythical imagine of given group and gold decorations in the form of actual arrangements of stars, the Latin name of the sign and the date of the sign’s validity.
Every poster was hand-printed by silk-screen technique. All these 12 zodiac series posters are printed on recycled paper with two ink-color, black and golden.
