Harun is a film maker by profession. He got degree Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles. There he studied theater directing and screenwriting. He got Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Directing from the American Film Institute as well. If talk about photography, he took it up as an interest in the course of his road trip through America. His project Bloodhoney grew into popular Kickstarter photography. His photographs have been presented by Vogue Italia and the L.A. Times and have been a business of TEDx Talk. His film In the Name of the Son premiered at Telluride Film Festival won above thirty international awards together with Cleveland film festivals, Savannah and Shanghai. It was the firstly live action short film which have an exclusive broadcast for the members of United States assembly on Capitol Hill.
He said, “The experience of the day was most important, not the resulting images. You could never predict what would come of it, and the idea was to let go and let things come together by circumstance”. Further he says, “Although being in front of the camera while letting go may seem uncomfortable, after these “séances,” just about every person wanted to keep going or do it again. Each shoot was its own unique adventure”. He gave title to his project Bloodhoney in reference to the Balkans. The title bring up the nostalgic natural surroundings of life. It is the area where he is from originally. He combined two words and make them one. Bloodhoney is a mish mash of two words, Bal which means Honey and Kan which means Blood.

All photos are really awe-inspiring and beautiful. Malibu sunrises, cloud inversion, the wave of stars, midnight at the wave, Oahu, in the playground and all others grab attention at very first sight. Splendid photography by him would push you all to admire him.
