Dynamic photographs of acrobatic dancer will be shown where she’s performing with bursts of powder. It gives the impression as a bird is spreading its wing for taking flight toward sky. Such a beautiful and well-ordered movements of her. You’ll see without blinking your eyes.

Jeffery Vanhoutte is a Brussels based photographer organized with creative agency Norvell Jefferson. He created a photo and video where sophisticated moment of acrobatic dancer is captured in a very fine way. All moments have been taken with sensitive and dramatic bursts of powder. The video and photo shoot was prepared for Campina Friesland Keivit. It is a Dutch company which makes coffee creamer and that photo shoot was basically as an advertisement for them.

High speed cameras have been used to capture slow motion shots. Puff of powder gone behind by the dancer’s actions or movements. Each and every image is clearly well taken with high speed camera in order to get perfect shot. “Really fast flash duration so it could freeze the particles of the powder.” He says. Jeffrey Vanhoutte formed the shoot composed with the Creative Director. The model is professional acrobatic dancer and the movement she did with the burst of powder are amazing. Very first she had powder in her hands and put it in the air. “Every time the same movement, five or six or ten times, and then she was completely full of powder and had to start again. It was a messy process for the camera. We had to put plastic around the camera to protect it. It was one whole day from early morning until the evening to do this job and to clean up it took longer”. Jeffery says.

Dynamic photographs of acrobatic dancers are really amazing and eye-catching. All portraits are really dynamic and full of live. You’ll feel that a bird is trying to take off.
