Gemma O’Brien is an Australian artist and designer. She born in Brisbane but currently she’s living in Sydney. She did specialization in lettering, illustration and typography. She studied Design at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney. In 2012, Gemma worked as an Art Director at Fuel VFX, Animal Logic and Toby & Pete before determining to take a solo wing as a commercial illustrator. Very first she draw her pet chook Rosie when she was 5 only. Her typography work contains a variety of forms from digital type, calligraphic brushwork and illustrated letter forms to expand scales hand-painted murals and wall-paintings. Gemma is very brilliant, dedicated and concerned toward her work. She is zealous artist and her work will prove it.
Her clients list is immense. Kirin Cider, Angus and Julia Stone, Heinz, Adobe, Volcom, Heineken, QANTAS and the New York Times are included in her client list. Many of her projects have been renowned by the New York, the Type Directors Club with Awards of Typographic Excellence. You’ll see brilliant, awe and creative piece of type designs.
